As a film producer and executive with more than 15 years experience on both independent and studio films, Jillian Stein has overseen all aspects of production. She ran a production services consulting company where she vetted projects of various scales, created schedules and budgets, and consulted on cast deals, shooting locations, tax incentives and union requirements. As a Development and Production Executive, she specializes in launching new divisions due to her ability to devise infrastructure and creative business strategies as well as juggle multiple projects efficiently and often serves as a bridge between creative and production. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, she joined Walt Disney Television as a Production Health & Safety Manager and successfully spearheaded FX Network's first series to return to production.
Within the emerging "Tech in Entertainment" space, she has been the VP Strategy & Business Development at the blockchain company Film.io, the Director of Film Finance & Business Strategy at the film finance marketplace Slated.com and Co-Producer of the virtual reality experience “Kaiju Fury!” which was part of the Sundance New Frontier 2015 Official Selection. In the entertainment sector, Jillian was the Director of Development for Oscar-winning New Deal Studios, where she launched their development arm. She was also a Development Executive at Solaris Entertainment where she served as Production Executive on the Lionsgate film “Warrior”. Jillian was a Miniature Effects Producer on Robert Zemeckis’s "Women of Marwen”, a producer on the indie comedy “Frank vs God” & the spiritual drama “The Fourth Noble Truth”, and a co-producer on the Nigerian political drama “Black Gold”. |
